On the website only (the app uses PostHog alone), we use Google Analytics to collect anonymised data about page views, traffic sources, and user behaviour. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users and maintain session state. Data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with our site through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity automatically masks sensitive content and does not capture keystrokes in password fields. Data is processed in accordance with Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

PostHog

We use PostHog for product analytics and session recordings on both the website and the app, hosted in the EU. Until you accept cookies PostHog runs in cookieless mode: page views are counted against a short-lived, privacy-preserving hash and nothing is stored in your browser. Once you accept, it sets its own cookie and may record how you use the pages, with every form field masked. If you reject, your visit is still counted without cookies or any stored identifier. Analytics events are kept for one year and recordings for 30 days. Data is processed in accordance with PostHog's Privacy Policy.

Analytics cookies are only loaded in production and are not present during local development.

Live chat widget

Our live chat is our own service rather than an analytics tool, but it stores a visitor identifier and chat state in your browser's local storage so your conversation can be remembered. For that reason the chat only loads after you accept cookies. If you reject cookies the chat button will not appear; you can always email us instead at hello@localbrandhub.com.
